FRIDAY CLUB & THE SCADBURY CENTRE

 

Orpington and Bromley Gateway Friday Club
6.30 to 9.30

 

This club is every Friday evening at St George’s Church Hall Bickley. It is for adults with SEND. This club is very busy and has a regular attendance of 50 plus members. It  has regular discos and live music along with a small hall for keep fit and crafting activities. In the summer we have outdoor activities.

 

A volunteer would need : 

 

Good communication skills

Computer skills would be good but not necessary 

Able to  commit to at least once a month.

We are able to accept a limited number of students doing D of E.

 

 

Scadbury Horticulture Centre and Nature Reserve

 

Orpington Gateway run this centre at Scadbury Park Chislehurst. It is a training centre for adults with SEND. It provides this service on a daily basis, Monday to Friday. This is an exciting time to join us as we wish to extend the range of activities we offer.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who can help our members with a variety of tasks.

 

You would need:

Good communication skills

Able to be able to commit to a regular day / days

Visits welcome

 

All volunteers will be DBS checked.
